a very cool product to bust. Great looking cards and two auto per box for only around $30 per box.
very tough set to build however as there are a lot of SP's.
Great designs and a neat idea for a set... I'll definitely be picking up another box.

a great set collectors set. Very affordable, with just enough of that retro flair. A deep checklist, with all the stars plus the rest of the roster as well. Each team should have between 20-30 players represented.
Fun subsets. Plus a last minute black parallel for those of you inclined.
count on three boxes to get your set.

This is an awesome product for the set collector or the kids. No jerseys or autos or rainbow super X refractor parallels to worry about. Just baseball cards.
Good coalation, with no duplicates in the box. A small set, only 220 cards, should be easy to complete by trading with friends.

again a really good product. again, based on their baseball design. although I've been a big fan of their product for a couple of years now, i hope that they do something different next year. The past 3 or 4 years have basically been the same, with the pinnacle being last years set.
still, a really fun bust.

A solid set, good checklist, decent rookie selection. 16 packs per box, 15 cards per pack. One rookie per pack.
The set is 200 cards, plus 100 rookies. There's the problem. 1 rookie per pack means over 6 boxes needed to complete the set. Impossible.
The auto I pulled, as well as one of the jersey cards, were from rookies that ended up never playing in the NFL. Rotten luck.
Wish I could've pulled a Peterson, but not this time.
Decent break though... pick a box up if you can find it under $30.

A fun product to bust. Only 12 packs per box in the hobby version, but 3 hits to be found. Mine had 4 hits. The two guarenteed jersey cards, and an on card auto, plus a #/50 Patch card of DeMarcus Ware.
You'll get 4 or 5 black bordered cards, as well as a couple of other colours that are serial numbered.
A great buy, with the only downside being the duplicates you pull. A product with only 12 packs per box should not yield any duplicates. No excuses.

A great box for any football fan. 24 packs, 4 cards per. 1 auto per box. Mine was a Hakeem Nicks Rookie auto from the Giants.
A cool set with 110 vets, 110 rookies. But with only 96 cards per box less inserts, it will take at least 3 boxes to complete a set.
Lots of various levels of refractors to be found too.
A fun break 9/10

For those of you unfamiliar with this set, it's designed mainly for the beginning collector or for the kids. It's a smaller version of the base Upper Deck Football set, with a few variations.
It's only 200 cards, with the first 150 being vets and the last 50 being Star Rookies. Then there are cards 201-225 that are Star Rookie short prints. The SP't values fall 1 per 4 packs. I did get the 8 in my box I should have.
Also, the cards are not high gloss like the regular UD issue. Some people may like that better...
Inserted at one per pack, silver bordered StarQuest cards are the only insert or hit you'll find here. No swatches, autos, or game used jockstrap redemptions in this set.
I ended up 6 cards short of a full set... but you get duplicates to trade...
For what you pay for a box of these (probably under $20) it's a great value for set collectors or for the kids.
Go out and grab one of these if you like busting wax or love football....

An awesome box! One of the advertised "hot" boxes. The photography is outstanding. Great player selection, with the best rookie crop in years.
A must have for all football collectors. I'll be picking up another box to go after the SP's....

an awesome box of cards from ITG. 5 cards per pack, 24 packs per box. I got a complete 100 card set with 19 duplicates left over.
The odds of pulling an auto and a relic are 1:18 packs each. So for every three boxes, one box will have 2 autos and 1 relic, one box will have 1 auto and 2 relics, and one box will only have one of each.
You know which one I got. *sigh*
The quality of the cards are great, the write ups and info are superb, as is the checklist. The only issue I have is that the photos on the backs of the cards are not bright enough to see clearly.
If you're a hockey fan, especially for amateur/Olympic hockey, grab a box of these. Very affordable and great quality hits.

Great product, see my last review....
no duplicates, great insert sets and parallels...
an awesome set. Pick this one up at anything less than $55.

A great product ruined by someones' brilliant idea to include at least 3 parallels per pack in a 5 card pack.
The cards are fantastic. A great set. And the parallels are great cards. The '79/80 OPC retro parallel (1 per pack) is a great idea. But give us 4 base cards to collect the set. Instead, some genious decides to insert 2 "Metal" cards per pack. This isn't an update set in an Update box. It's a brand new, never before seen, 800 card set found in the Update boxes only.
Sheer stupidity. No. Stoopid. With 2 O's.
Out of 120 carrds, I only received 48 base cards towards the 200 card update set. There is no excuse for this. The box would rate a 9.0 normally, but this insert parallel brought it down to a 5.0
If they had released the Metal set (think Topps Chrome) seperately, I probably would have bought a box or two.

A great set to build by the box. It is so easy to tell whick packs have inserts in them, and the pulls as well, so buy this by the box unless all you want are base cards.
No duplicates, which was great. I hit a 1:6 boxes Triple Materials Game Used card of Ovechkin which was awesome.
The fronts are a simple photo/border in a matte finish. Great for TTM autos. The backs are where the weakness lies.
Way too boring and a waste of under utilized space. The backs are what bring this down from a 9.5
If you like hockey and set building, this 600 card set is for you. If you're after the "big hits" stay away...

Series two of Upper Decks main set was done a little differently than Series One. In each pack was an 08/09 card from the Victory set. This really detracted from the main focus of this set, and that is completing the series two set. Those could've been 24 base cards, instead of 24 cards that no one really cares about or is collecting, judging from the secondary market sales.
The photography is superb as usual, the checklist has a good mixture of superstars, rookies, and everyday players.
I got a case hit in this box, a 3'd /100 rookie patch/swatch. But still, only getting 123 base cards towards the 200 card set, with 32 duplicates(and those useless 24 Victory cards) is not good.
Like Series one, the Young Gun 50 card rookie set (cards 451-500) are short-printed to 1:6 packs. This box yielded 7... only 43 to go...
This year, in bothe Series one and Two, UD made waaaay too many subsets. For those wanting to complete a master set, well, good luck pal.

A really great product for any hockey fan, young or old. Good quality card stock, great collation. The "hits" are top notch. In this box, there were 2 Future Stars Autos, A Prospect Combo Dual Swatch, a Masked Men, and an Auto Emblem card.
The set is divided into sections, future stars, Stars of the Game, Greats of the Game(retired) and Rival League (WHA stars)
The checklist is really good, a couple of questionable selections, but all in all a good selection.
If you want to prospect, or stroll down memory lane, this is the set for you. And you'll get a good amount of hits as well.

A good box for set builders. You won't find the big hit that you can sell for $$$ here. The photography is superb. A must set for all hockey fans.
The checklist is good, even though it's only Series 1... you get all the guys from top stars to fourth line reserves.
Maybe a few too many short prints, but that's expected in this era of set building.
I'll be buying a box of Series 2 based on what I found here.
If you like hockey, pick this up.
