I\'ve got what is probably the most complete collection of Hensley Meulens cards in the lower 48. I also collect Dave Winfield, as he was my favorite player back when I started collecting around 1987. Matt Williams was my favorite National League player back with the Giants. I basically abandoned baseball after the strike killed his shot at 61 HR in 1993. Have sort of dabbled since then and now mostly accumulate oddball stuff like Japanese cards and stickers to build up material to sell and trade to support my player collections.
In recent years, I\'ve started collecting Karl \"Tuffy\" Rhodes, Bernardo Brito, Dave Henderson and Roberto Kelly. Most people probably only remember Tuffy Rhodes for his 3 HR opening day performance back with the Cubs, but after basically not accomplishing anything more that year, he ended up in Japan and became the all-time foreign HR leader with over 450, including tying Sadaharu Oh\'s single season record of 55 HR. As the Orix Buffaloes didn\'t renew his contract this year, he has most likely retired, which is a shame as he was maybe two seasons away from 2000 hits and 500 home runs in Japan, which would have landed him in the illustrious Meikyukai and made a good case for his induction into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.
